Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing and using MockBoost ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to these Terms of Service, please do not use the Service.

MockBoost is operated by MockBoost, located in Chile. These terms apply to all users of the Service.

2. Description of Service

MockBoost provides a high-performance API mocking platform that allows users to:

  • Create and manage mock API endpoints
  • Filter and manipulate mock data
  • Collaborate with team members in shared workspaces
  • Monitor API request logs
  • Generate dynamic responses based on request parameters

3. User Accounts

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account

4. Subscription Plans

MockBoost offers different subscription tiers (DEV, QA, PROD). Each plan includes different features and usage limits. Currently only the DEV plan is available; QA and PROD are planned for the future.

- DEV Plan: Free tier for individual developers (available now)

- QA Plan: Team tier for shared mocks and CI/CD (planned)

- PROD Plan: High availability and custom solutions (planned)

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any laws or regulations
  • Infringe on intellectual property rights
  • Upload malicious code or malware
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose

6. Intellectual Property

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by MockBoost and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain all rights to the data and content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service.

OpenAPI/Swagger specifications. When you import an OpenAPI or Swagger specification, we may store a copy of it so you can view the documentation (Swagger UI) from each endpoint. This copy is only accessible to you and the members of your workspace. If you choose not to store the spec (when that option is available), you will not be able to use the "View Swagger" feature for those endpoints.

7. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall MockBoost, nor its directors, employees, partners, agents, suppliers, or affiliates, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses, resulting from your access to or use of or inability to access or use the Service.

8. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your account and bar access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, under our sole discretion, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. All provisions of the Terms which by their nature should survive termination shall survive termination.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of Chile, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of any significant changes by posting the new Terms on this page and updating the "Last updated" date.

Your continued use of the Service after any changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
